Stump Grinding

Our Stump Grinding service turns that hard, tripping hazard into usable yard space again. Whether the stump is from a recent removal or has been in the way for years, we size the work to your plans for the area.

Our grinder fits through standard 36" gates, so tight backyards are rarely a problem. We first cut the stump as low as possible, then grind it 4 - 18 inches deep, depending on whether you're replanting, laying lawn, or installing hardscape. Wider surface roots can also be addressed so mowing is easier and the final grade looks clean.

We're careful with turf and surrounding beds, positioning the machine to minimize disturbance. If you'd like a turn‑key finish, we can backfill the hole with soil, rake the area smooth, and reseed so you're not left staring at a mound of chips.
Pre‑existing stumps, multiple stumps, and stump grinding bundled with tree removal are all options. You end up with a flatter, safer, easier‑to‑maintain yard that's ready for whatever you want to plant or build next.
